I highly recommend this to those interested in American music.. This book had very little to say about how to grow dreadlocks and much more to say about everything else. Definitely worth reading, thinking about and discussing. It won't interfere on other aspects later.. It nicely dissects the runs and fills of some of the great stride players, like my James P. A great for anybody, from needing a small pick me up to changing the beat your march to!. I appreciated what he was trying to say, but I wished he could have done it in a less irritating fashion.
This book was not fun or suspenseful or poignant. I am constantly going back to it to for information on antennas, qrp radios, etc.
