2. She shows where she borrowed from real life for her fiction, she tells how AYS affected relationships with friends and old lovers, whose versions differed, sometimes, sharply, with her own. Even so, I quite liked these characters and hope to see them in a future story.
Conclusion? A bit of a miss for Ms. I did not believe the h could have survived much of what she goes through, which makes me go, "Huh?" which takes me out of the story.
