The book implies that ME ("CFS") and Fibromyalgia are somatoform disorders. Will there be more? I sure hope so. I heard great reviews on both books and to me, it didn't matter which book I got because they would work the same anyway. There are other non-Asian and even Eurasian characters as well as one Afro-Asian character in an earlier volume, which provides a "diverse" look at Japan and Japanese culture.
Readers are treated to aspects of Japanese culture, such as foods and sources of entertainment. I like a series where all of the characters are part of the story and it appears that will continue in the rest of the books.
