Now Michael must keep his beloved safe from the nasty Zodius.
With a nod to Captain America, Lisa Renee Jones provides a great Area 51 romantic military fantasy. This series has it. Feeling guilt over his father's avoidance from conscription in W.W.II by becoming a meat worker, the shame was compounded by the fact that his dad was also a black marketer for the duration of the war. Diggers and Cranes arrived shrink wrapped and in good condition. While this book has depth to it and a lot of meat, it's also an easy, enjoyable read that, I believe, even people who consider themselves "non-readers" can get into.
bonus point: The characters were refreshingly diverse in race, gender, ect.
I will definitely be looking forward to the next installment!. That really the only knock I have on the book and the only reason I didn't rate it higher.
