What sort of a biography of a very well known person would use the wrong picture on the cover. So
how does one have anything positive to say about a person's last 20 years of life when there really isn't? I found the
only thing of interest at that point was his travails in getting in and out of Russia.
To be fair, the author seems to know a lot about music and goes to great lengths to explain the music theory
and chromatic patterns of Arlen's work. The coverage of resonant circuits in general is very good. To me, at least. Powerful.
Highly recommend this book.. I purchased this book hoping it would help me create better drumbeats for my music. He's the only one with copies and it would've shed light on how far the album was truly developed at that point and which guitar riff was it that got him so heated with Macca that he up and quit.
