we use it in class as a support for science!!. Most important, it is theologically sound and Biblically based. Everyone should read it. Too often a story line falls into one of two realms; completely predictable or confusing/nonsensical. In both, he is rebuffed by a woman who he tries to open up to or fall in love with. I like this series because it is full of action. They both must battle bitterness and blame before they can open their hearts to the freedom forgiveness brings. And in the end, she leaves us curious, as she did at the end of AYS - does she work things out with her lover's child? Does she persevere this time?
And there's much reflection on age, on how the shortness of time reduces options. A couple of flaws and something that's perhaps personal taste kept me from giving this story an even higher rating. It caused/challenged me to look at things differently and to find
