EDITORIAL :
From School Library Journal PreSchool-Grade 1-A friendship story that offers a gentle lesson about sharing. Two boys recount how they like to share everything-food, a bike, a book. That is, until they both spot a toad at the same time and each one claims it as his own. While they argue, the animal hops away and the two youngsters take their anger out on a rock. "We kick until/our mad is gone./We kick until/we're home, and then,/John and I/are friends again." The rhymed verse is on the verso, set against a richly colored background. The right-hand page features watercolor cartoons that will get kids' attention. A simple picture book that can double as an easy reader.Christy Norris Blanchette, Valley Cottage Library, NYCopyright 1999 Reed Business Information, Inc.

The other big book sizes like "Little Lion" "Little Elephant" etc. As Michael Steen points out in his introduction:-
